Economic Policy - Trick or Treat?

One must really wonder at the manner in which the banks have been bailed out of the financial "mess" that they themselves have created, not entirely in isolation, but as a result of the macro economic terms of engagement. I will hold my hands up and declare from the outset I am not and never have been a student of financial policy but can verify that I have been at the sharp end of running a business and feel entitled to share my views on that basis.

So with the whole business of making an income a central focus for most of us, the means of increasing our wealth is now at an all-time high and due to become even more pressing as the days go by.
